Russian Deputy PM opposes imported food state purchase ban
MOSCOW, Apr 5 (PRIME) – Russia must not limit state purchases to local food as the Agriculture Ministry has proposed, Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich said at a trade fair on Tuesday.
“We need to avoid this as much as we can, we need to take care of all taxpayers… We should not be carried away by this,” Dvorkovich said.
We need to make our products better than competitors do rather than ousting competitors with our products in an unnatural way.”
